- Look up the channels website to see what programmes they broadcast
- Have a look at a variety of TV Crime Drama websites and see what the similarities and differences are between them (type them up on the blog)
- Survey typical audiences for ideas (teenagers)
- Research Facebook/twitter pages and see how they publicise their programmes
- Think of ideas for the pitch which you believe teenagers will enjoy from viewing similar programmes
